Network
Calendar / Shared Calendar
aspWebCalendar is
designed to be a cost effective network
calendar solution suitible for both
small and large corporations. Our
single site license only costs $129 and
that provides you with an unlimited
number of users and and unlimited number
of calendars. The application
installs on your Windows Server running
IIS in just a few seconds and in the
default configuration it only requires
you to change one variable in the code
to get the application up and running.
Since aspWebCalendar is a browser based
server side application the only
software your end users need is a web
browser, this makes it a breeze to
rollout to your end users. There is no
installation necessary... just give your
end users a link to the calendar, which
can be done a number of ways... for
example, you can create a link on your
company intranet to the application, use
a login script to put an icon on your
users desktops or in their favorites for
the application, or simply email a link
to your end users and allow them to save
it however they want. If you
install aspWebCalendar on an internet
facing server you can easily provide the
same experience to your remote users.
We also provide an Active Directory
integration script that allows you to
setup aspWebCalendar to read your users
and groups from your Active Directory
installation. This means you don't
even have to manage user accounts in the
calendar... you will instantly have
access to all the users and groups on
your network and can assign those users
and groups rights to your calendars.
Using Integrated Windows Authentication
your Active Directory users can also be
signed in automatically... that means
there is no need for your end users to
login to the calendar and remember a
user name or password just for calendar
